About us

We are a group of International students at Huddersfield University (Business school). One of our modules is Event Management and Marketing, taught by Nadio Granata.  The main aim of this module, is to create successful event. The module begins with understanding of the managerial issues facing event managers, developing of disciplined and yet creative event proposals. This could allow students to critically analyse events from a wide range of disciplines in order for them to be equipped with the skills to manage events in their own right and / or supervise the management of the events by third parties.

On completion of this module students will be able to:

1.) understand and explain the concept and role of the event manager

2.) understand and explain the objectives of planned event management

3.) understand and explain the major risk and benefits to successful event management

4.) understand and explain the competitive field of event management

5.) understand and explain the marketing options available to the event manager

6.) understand and explain the principal print and design options available

7.) understand and explain the budgetary requirements for successful event

8.) identify the appropriate event structure for set objectives

9.) plan and budget successful events

10.) create high quality promotional campaigns for a wide range of event types

11.) execute an event
